Comm., C.H.R.P Mr. Bourk is currently the Ontario Chairman of The Executive Committee (TEC) Ltd., founder and President of JUST LIKE HOME Senior Residences Inc. and principal of Beemont Management Group. He has held former management positions with Molson Canada, CIBC and Ernst & Ernst and was the past President and CEO of Unionmutual Life Assurance Company.
Claude Chabot, B. E.Sc, M.B.A. Mr. Chabot is currently the President of Sunox Industrial Gases Inc. and a former director of London Guarantee Insurance Company. He has held senior positions with Air Products Inc., Canadian Medical Developments Inc., MDS Laboratories, Guarantee Company of North America, and Proctor and Gamble.
Mike George Mike George is the President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for managing the day to day business activities of Trisura and will be collaborating with Bob and John in setting the strategic direction and vision of the company. In addition, Mike will have oversight responsibilities for the Surety and related product operations. Until June of 2005, Mike was a Senior Vice President and Director of a large multinational insurance company, responsible for its field operations in Surety, Special Risk, Title and New Home Warranty operations across Canada. Until the end of 2002, Mike was also responsible for the firm's Corporate Risk business, comprising Directors and Officers' Liability, Fidelity and Professional Liability Insurance. Prior to that he also worked for several multinational insurance companies as an Underwriter and Senior Underwriter respectively, and started his career in 1987 as a corporate banker.
Melvin Hawkrigg, B.A., F.C.A., LL.D (Hon.) Mr. Hawkrigg is currently the Chairman of Orlick Industries and a director of Renasant Financial Partners Limited. Previously the Chairman of London Life Insurance Company and Trilon Financial Corporation, Mr. Hawkrigg has also held senior management positions with Brascan Limited (now known as Brookfield Asset Management Inc.), Canada Trustco, Fuller Brush Company and Ernst & Young. Other former directorships include Royal Lepage Limited, Security First Inc. and John Labatt Ltd.
John Khajadourian, B. App.Sc, M.B.A. Mr. Khajadourian is Vice President Corporate Development at Brookfield Asset Management. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Hermitage Insurance, a US property and casualty insurer. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Khajadourian was with a Toronto based private equity group and spent several years as a consultant with a large international consulting firm working on assignments in the banking, insurance, energy, resources and internet sectors.
Bruce Robertson, B. Comm, C.A. Mr. Robertson is currently the Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. and was previously a Vice President with Deloitte & Touche. Past directorships include NBS Technologies, BNN Split Corp, Diversified Canadian Financial, Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund, Brascan SoundVest Total Return Fund, Brascan SoundVest Rising Distribution Fund, CRIMMI MAE, Crystal River Capital and Brascan Adjustable Rate Trust.
Bob Taylor Bob Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for the overall strategy, vision, and direction of the company. In addition, Bob will have oversight responsibilities for the Corporate Risk operations. Until 2002, Bob was President and Chief Executive Officer of a federally regulated property and casualty insurance company that specialized in the similar lines of business that Trisura will be targeting. Prior to leading that start up operation in 1989, Bob was a Senior Vice President of a large multinational insurance company. Bob has been in the insurance industry for 31 years. |
