Trisura Executive Bob Taylor, Chief Executive Officer Bob Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for the overall strategy, vision, and direction of the company. In addition, Bob will have oversight responsibilities for the Corporate Risk operations. Until 2002, Bob was President and Chief Executive Officer of a federally regulated property and casualty insurance company that specialized in the similar lines of business that Trisura will be targeting. Prior to leading that start up operation in 1989, Bob was a Senior Vice President of a large multinational insurance company. Bob has been in the insurance industry for 31 years. Mike George, President and Chief Operating Officer Mike George is the President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for managing the day to day business activities of Trisura and will be collaborating with Bob and John in setting the strategic direction and vision of the company. In addition, Mike will have oversight responsibilities for the Surety and related product operations. Until June of 2005, Mike was a Senior Vice President and Director of a large multinational insurance company, responsible for its field operations in Surety, Special Risk, Title and New Home Warranty operations across Canada. Until the end of 2002, Mike was also responsible for the firm's Corporate Risk business, comprising Directors and Officers' Liability, Fidelity and Professional Liability Insurance. Prior to that he also worked for several multinational insurance companies as an Underwriter and Senior Underwriter respectively, and started his career in 1987 as a corporate banker. John Garner, Chief Financial Officer John Garner is the Chief Financial Officer responsible for the company's financial planning, policies and guidelines. Previously, John worked at Cookson Walker Consulting where his focus was on the organizational structure and operating efficiency of both insurance companies and brokers. Until 2002, John was Chief Financial Officer of a federally regulated property and casualty insurance company. Prior to that time, John spent much of his career dealing with insurance brokers at Ernst & Young (formerly Clarkson Gordon), Trivest Insurance Network Limited, and Wellington Insurance Company. John holds his MSc. (Econ) and is a Chartered Accountant. Glen Shaw, Vice President, Risk Solutions Glen Shaw is responsible for the Risk Solutions product area. Trisura Risk Solutions supports fronted and indemnified programs for captives and risk retention groups. Glen joins Trisura with 15 years of experience in surety and related products with a multinational insurer. Glen has worked in a number of different areas including underwriting, ceded and assumed reinsurance, and Risk Solutions. Dragan Popovic, Vice President, Information Systems Dragan Popovic is responsible for the leadership in Information Systems and Technology. Dragan brings 15 years of experience in systems design, development, integration and implementation in insurance and banking industry. Prior to joining Trisura, Dragan held the position of Manager, Systems Development of a leading multinational property & casualty insurance carrier where he was involved in all aspects of policy management / underwriting systems life cycle. Connie Knapp, Assistant Vice President, Administration Connie Knapp is responsible for Human Resources and Administration at Trisura. Connie has many years experience in the specialty lines Property & Casualty industry primarily in a managerial capacity. Previously, Connie was involved in a start up federally regulated property and casualty insurance company in 1989 and remained with that company in the position of Vice President, Human Resources until 2003. Connie also had an early focus on underwriting Corporate Risk business. Rob Litt, Senior Underwriter, Risk Solutions Rob is responsible for broker, third party administrator relationships and underwriting in the Risk Solutions product area. Previously, Rob worked 5 years with a large multinational surety company in the Accounting and Risk Solutions departments. Rob holds a BSc and is currently working towards his CGA designation. Teresa Galati, Accountant Teresa Galati is responsible for the day to day accounting functions at Trisura. Teresa was previously an Accountant Analyst for a multinational surety company. |
