Donna Anderson, Assistant Vice President, Surety

Donna Anderson is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in the Prairie Provinces. Donna previously held management positions with a leading surety company in western Canada. Donna brings to Trisura 20 years of surety experience starting her career in the bond process department for a Western based surety company.

Richard A. Grant, Senior Underwriter, Surety

Richard Grant is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in the Prairie Provinces. Richard attained his Bachelor of Management, majoring in Finance from the University of Lethbridge. Upon graduation Richard worked in the banking industry for one year before joining a multinational surety company.

John Thorpe , Underwriter, Surety

John Thorpe is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in the Prairie Provinces. John attained his Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, John has 5 years of construction related experience working for a mechanical contractor.

Lina Rahimi, Underwriter, Surety

Lina Rahimi is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in the Prairies. Lina attained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary with a major in Finance and Risk Management. Lina has worked in the banking industry for 4 years with a focus on personal lending and investment products. Lina is currently working towards her CGA designation.

Montreal Office

Jean-François Therrien, Manager, Surety

Jean-François Therrien is responsible for broker relationships and managing the Surety portfolio of business in the province of Quebec. Jean-François brings to Trisura several years of underwriting experience in the surety industry. Prior to joining Trisura, Jean-François held the position of senior underwriter in a large multinational insurance company.

Frederic Beauregard, Underwriter, Surety

Frederic Beauregard is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in the province of Quebec. Previously, Frederic was an underwriter for a multinational surety organization. Frederic has a Bachelor of Accounting Degree and a CMA degree.

Toronto Office

Chris Sekine, Senior Vice President, Surety

Chris Sekine is responsible for the leadership of the Surety business across Canada, which includes the development of broker relationships, underwriting and administration. Chris previously held executive positions with two multinational sureties, first as Vice President and Branch Manager responsible for Contract Surety, Commercial Surety, Developer Surety and Title Insurance, and most recently as the Canadian Managing Director for Contract Surety and Commercial Surety. Chris brings to Trisura 15 years of surety expertise and started his career in the banking industry.

Janet Mascitelli, Assistant Vice President, Surety

Janet Mascitelli is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in Ontario and the Maritimes. Janet previously held management positions with a leading national surety company. Janet started her career in banking in the Maritimes and brings to Trisura 20 years of surety experience.

Pina Mazzoli, Manager, Commercial Surety

Pina Mazzoli is responsible for broker relationships, underwriting and product development for Commercial Surety on a national level. Previously, Pina worked for a multinational insurance company in their commercial surety operations. Pina has 12 years of underwriting experience including risk analysis, business development, portfolio management. Her primary focus has been Commercial Surety servicing both domestic and international firms.

Chris Kucman, Manager, Surety

Chris Kucman is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting throughout Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Chris was most previously an underwriter with a multinational surety. He also brings with him an extensive banking and small business ownership background.

Matt Baynton, Senior Underwriter, Surety

Matt Baynton is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in Ontario and the Maritimes. Matt has several years of underwriting experience and was most recently an underwriter with a large multinational surety company. Matt holds his BBA and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Jamie Collum , Underwriter, Surety

Jamie Collum is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting throughout Ontario and the Maritime Provinces. Jamie had been most previously employed as a Financial Analyst by a large multinational surety company, and has also worked for one of the largest financial institutions in Canada. Jamie’s educational background includes an Honours B. Comm. with a specialization in Finance.

Vancouver Office

John Watt, Vice President, Surety

John Watt is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting for British Columbia. John previously held management positions with two multi-national corporations, first as Assistant Vice-President, responsible for marketing and underwriting for all lines of surety in Western Canada, and most recently as the Vice-President and Director of Surety and Home Warranty for a major international brokerage. John brings 16 years of surety and warranty experience to Trisura and commenced his professional career in the Calgary banking industry.

Mike Germann, Senior Underwriter, Surety

Michael Germann is responsible for broker relationships and underwriting in British Columbia. Mike worked for a natural gas pipeline contractor for several years and most recently was an underwriter with a multinational surety. He holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a Masters of Business Administration from Queens University.
