Trisura Group believes in the importance of social responsibility and of giving back to the communities in which we work and live. Each year, Trisura allocates some of its net underwriting income to charities, ensuring regular, direct contribution to the community. Trisura also participates in the United Way campaign each autumn with a goal of 100 per cent employee participation, as well as supports national charities, including:

Trisura is proud of the work we do with smaller local charities across the country. Employees are often the source of inspiration for these local charities. Our organization encourages employees to participate in charity initiatives and events that are important to them, and as such, we donate up to $250 per calendar year per individual in support of their chosen cause.

Additionally, Trisura provides each employee with two paid volunteer days per year to support a charity. Volunteer days promote teamwork and employee engagement while giving back to our communities.

To help ensure we do our part for our communities, Trisura has a social responsibility committee, which is comprised of staff across all branches. The team meets throughout the year to organize corporate fundraising events and to brainstorm innovative ideas for how our organization can continue making a difference.
